Hi, I'm Sherly

A passionate UX designer uses delightful and playful methods to connect people with products. I solve users' problems and pain points by using a human-centered design process and by creating exquisite user interfaces.

Now, I’m a Senior Product Designer who works on Twitter Fleets. Some of the projects that I'm leading, like Fleets Stickers and Fleets Creation Tools. Before Fleets, I’m a lead designer of the LIVE experience on both Twitter & Periscope Platforms. Some of the projects that I worked on, like Go LIVE Together, Chat Moderators, Replay Editing Tools, Broadcasters Satisfaction In-app Survey, etc.

Before Twitter, I lead the design of Google Crowdsource Android app and website from brainstorming ideas to launch products. My role was helping Google machine intelligence to collect diverse data to improve the quality of the Google services.

Outside of work, I like skydiving. Recently, I'm learning the AFF class to try to get my solo fun jumper license. I also love drawing because I started to learn drawing when I was 8. I also like work out, hiking, camping, pottery, cooking, and baking.

I’m always ready to embrace new challenges and explore what’s the next revolution that would change people’s lives. Let’s chat more!

People talked about me

"I had a chat with our Legal people and showed him the facial blurring flow for people in professions. He was really impressed with the way it has been designed and is being implemented. He had high praise for the design of the graphic on the disclosure popup, which he said was very inclusive and our designer setting a high standard for other teams at Google. Sherly, great work on this feature, and totally looking forward to the launch."

— Anurag Batra, Product Manager, Crowdsourcing for ML/AI at Google

"I had the pleasure of working with Sherly as her Graduate Thesis Advisor earlier this year. What impressed me the most about her was her boundless enthusiasm for learning, her relentless drive to improve her skills, and her willingness to do as many iterations of an idea as needed. She has a bright, cheerful personality, but hiding behind this smile is a designer driven to succeed. She's talented, hard-working, and would be a great asset to any organization."
